The Amen Corner ABCD Scramble

4-person ABCD scramble

Shotgun at 830a

This will be a handicapped 4-person ABCD scramble at the lovely, private Indian River Colony Club Golf Course. This unique and challenging course is tucked closely among charming homes and many lakes, and it’s in fantastic condition right now.

Don’t let the slope rating fool you into thinking it will be an easy day. This course rewards smart strategy and careful shot selection to stay out of trouble. The good news? In a scramble format, your team will have four chances at every shot to figure it out together. There are no pairing requests for this event, as we will even out the teams with flights of ABCD players.  This is a shorter course at 4357 yards, and everyone will play from the RED tees.

Since we’ll be playing on Saturday of The Masters weekend, we’re calling the event “Amen Corner”—a fun nod to the famously challenging stretch at Augusta National Golf Club. It should be a great day of golf, teamwork, and just the right amount of challenge!

Cost is $45/member ($50/nonmember), register by April 8.
If you register a guest, I will try to put you in the same group, but since it is an ABCD scramble, I may not be able to make that work.

Prizes for low gross and low net plus 2 CTPs.

We will meet for lunch and scoring after the round at their 19th hole restaurant.
